Chat selling is a conversation
WhatsApp and similar chat platforms are not shop windows. They are conversations. Short, warm, specific messages win. Long copy-pasted brochures lose.

1) Greet by first name. 2) Confirm what they asked. 3) Answer clearly. 4) Ask one useful next question. 5) Close politely if they are not ready. That last step is what separates helpful sellers from pushy ones.
Only message people who have shown interest or given contact permission. Follow WhatsApp Business rules and local privacy laws — some countries require explicit opt-in for commercial messaging. Bulk unsolicited messages get numbers banned and damage trust.
A short voice note can feel warmer, but it is also harder to read on a bus or in a meeting. Default to text, offer voice only if the customer has used it first.
A seller replies to an inquiry: 'Hola [first name], gracias por escribir. Sí, el bolso negro está disponible, $[price], envío en Bogotá $[shipping]. ¿Te sirve entrega el jueves?' The AI helped draft the flow; the seller edited two words to sound like herself.
Draft a WhatsApp selling flow of 5 short messages, in [language]. Product: [name and 1-line description]. Context: [what the customer asked, use placeholders for names]. Goal: help them decide, not pressure them. Rules: short messages, warm tone, one question per message, no fake urgency, honest about stock and delivery.
Simulate a real inquiry (with placeholders). Draft the 5-step flow. Read each message aloud — if any feels pushy, rewrite it. Save the final flow as your WhatsApp starter kit.
Self-check only. Nothing here is scored. Tap a question to reveal the answer.
Which step of your WhatsApp flow do you skip most, and how would it feel to add back?
Only message people who have consented to hear from you. Follow local data-protection rules (GDPR in France, DPDP in India, and equivalents elsewhere). Never share one customer's chat with another customer.
