Lesson
Where AI images help
AI image tools are useful for concept art, mood boards, thumbnails for hypothetical ideas, decorative backgrounds, and educational diagrams. They are not a substitute for real photos of real people, products, or places you actually sell or serve.
Four ingredients of an image prompt
Subject (what is in the image), Setting (where and when), Style (photo / illustration / flat design / etc.), Framing (close-up, wide shot, aspect ratio). Missing any of these usually produces something generic.
The disclosure rule
If the image will be seen by others, label AI-generated images clearly. 'Illustration generated with AI' or a small 'AI' tag in the corner is enough. Undisclosed AI imagery in commercial content is misleading and, in some jurisdictions, illegal.
People, likeness, and copyright
Do not generate images of real, identifiable people without consent. Do not copy the style of a living artist to imply endorsement. Do not use copyrighted characters. Fictional, generic people and neutral styles are safest.
Example — Nepal blog thumbnail
A student writes a blog post about time management. They generate an illustration of a fictional desk with a notebook and clock, flat-design style, wide framing, labeled 'AI illustration' in the caption.
Prompt template
Structured image prompt
Subject: [what is in the image, no real people by name].
Setting: [where and time of day].
Style: [photo / illustration / flat design / watercolor / etc.].
Framing: [close-up / wide / square / vertical].
Mood: [calm, warm, focused, etc.].
Avoid: real people's faces, copyrighted characters, misleading realism about my product.
Practice task
Generate one AI image using the structured prompt above. Save the prompt and the image together. Draft the caption you would use, including a clear AI-generated disclosure.
Success checklist
Your prompt has subject, setting, style, and framing.
No real, identifiable person is in the image.
You wrote a clear disclosure caption.
You did not generate an image that misrepresents a real product.
Knowledge check
Self-check only. Nothing here is scored. Tap a question to reveal the answer.
Reflection
Where would an honest, disclosed illustration serve better than a stock photo?
Safety note
AI images can look real but be false. Do not generate images to mislead — no fake product colors, fake locations, fake events, or fake people. Some countries require explicit AI-disclosure labels; check local rules before commercial use.
